TABA/AmCham President Hosts Bootcamp Ventures Breakfast

On November 12th, 2012, TABA/AmCham President, Ekim Alptekin, hosted a Bootcamp Ventures breakfast roundtable at his residence in Istanbul. The breakfast roundtable was designed to discuss how to bring Turkey into global investment arena. More than 20 entrepreneurs, investors, and influential individuals from Turkey and abroad attended the breakfast to come up with ways to boost entrepreneurship in Turkey and bring Turkish entrepreneurs to the attention of foreign investors. The group held an open and frank discussion about achieving these goals, including focusing on education, corporate governance, and incentives for starting a business. Further, the group stressed the importance of highlighting Turkish business/entrepreneurial success stories. President Alptekin was happy to host the event at his home and looks forward to future collaboration with Bootcamp Ventures.
